A quick reminder regarding MOOSE -please remove all papers from the front of the binder each night. -home work is due by Friday. -the books that students bring home each night to read are to be left in their MOOSE when not being read. The students exchange them each day. -I am going to be sending home some math games over the next few weeks that are just printed onto white paper and can be kept at home.

RemindersThe second bell rings at 8:30am. We will be starting calendar time right after Oh' Canada. It is important for students to be on time and in their desks ready to go when the bell rings. As the weather changes, make sure students bring warmer jackets, boots, gloves, etc. They go to recess almost everyday. Please initial the behavior sheet everyday even if your child did not have anything written in it. |

Spelling:I have decided to use individual spelling lists this year because I felt students were either getting bored because they already knew all of the words or were getting frustrated because they felt they were never going to be successful if we kept moving forward onto new words when they hadn't learned the beginning ones.The student's individual list of 5-8 words will come home on Monday and I will test them on Friday. Please help your child practice every night. When they pass off a word, I will add another one from our list.
