Biography

I look forward to coming to work every day! While teaching is both challenging and rewarding working with kids is exciting, fun and very interesting. There is never a dull moment and I am constantly learning along with them. The best thing about teaching is that I get to see so many kids grow and learn. My goal is to help them become the best people they can be and to give them as many opportunities as possible for their future.

I wasn't always a teacher though. I started my professional career as a wildlife biologist and through this I had the opportunity to travel and work all across North America. As part of this job I got to work with children doing environmental education. I loved it and many people told me I was great with kids. So in 2005 I decided to return to school, the University of Lethbridge (I love school) and become to become a teacher.
